T O P I C R E V I E WSoulOfABirdIve beginning to think it’s probably one of the worst placements. Like what good comes out of it besides negative? vansioaw.... tell us more about it! I like to think that so long 12th house mooners implement shadow-work (daily...), they have a lot to offer the world from living/breathing the "universal consciousness". hugs from an 8th house moon! have you ever read Carl Jung's work? if not, dive in“The Collective Unconscious is accessed through the 4th House. It is all that has been in the consciousness of mankind. The 12th House is the house of Universal Consciousness. What is accessible through this house has not passed through the filter of mankind’s dualistic, ego-centred perspectives. It is the gateway to all possibility, and to Truth, which is apprehend able only when the partial view has been transcended.“SecretGeekMost things are half and half. Depends if we are positive or negative.Kannon McAfeeMoon in 12th, at least with your aspects, is definitely not the worst placement for the Moon any more than Moon in Pisces is 'worst' or Moon conjunct Neptune is 'worst.' Otherwise, my Moon in Capricorn in the 4th house is way worse than yours, much more closed off, resistant, and homebody by natural preference.Understand astrological factors for their qualitative meaning instead of good/bad, best/worst. Otherwise astrology is of little use. There are always positives in every placement. That is to say, there is a strength inherent within every placement. It is a matter of tapping into it and developing it further. Moon in 12th has closer access to the shared subconscious than any lunar position. In other words, intuition in which just below the surface there is awareness and knowledge of what is going on not just on a personal subconscious level, but with those around you and in the world generally. So the potential weakness is lostness in this by not connecting with it and utilizing it constructively. The difficulty comes with not understanding your own needs, sacrificing or over-reaching to meet those of others.------------------Soul Stars Astrology by The Declinations GuyExpert birth chart rectificationTaurusVenusGirlI have a love/hate feeling about my moon in 12H. But it makes me happy to just lock myself away from the world so easily so no one can see me.NadjaAs Kannon writes, every placement has its strenghts and weaknesses. There is nothing bad that doesn't also bring something good, and the other way around.Personally I like my Virgo 12th Moon. I am very intuitive but also grounded, so it's a pretty good balance. I do tend to be more in tune with other people's emotions than my own, but I don't find that to be a big issue because I'm normally harmonious enough, and so are my surroundings. Empathy is definitely a good thing, and intuition is very useful! I just get people, what they are feeling and thinking, and that has been very helpful both in my private life and at work. As a trade-off I do need quite a lot of alone time to really feel like myself, but that's fine with me. Hikaru29My dad has a 12H Moon and I've Moon conj Neptune. We're both pretty calm and have lotsa empathy for others. I don't think there's anything wrong with this. Don't misunderstand this for being a doormat though. We're far from that. GrachaI am appalled as a 12th house Gemini moon. This placement is awesome dude when I tell you I am soo intuitive until it's not funny lolI can look at a person and see who they are as an individual. Even with pictures I've been asked by family friends and colleagued each time been on the money. I've kept myself out of drama, most times with romance. I can read tarot cards and even have premonitions. Helps me to see the good in life as well. I also have north node in Gemini conjunct moon in 12th house but I love it.And I my mom wasn't neglectful just over protective. Also very religious.RosalindFrom a karmic point of view... Karmic debts towards the mother/ women.I think I might be the weirdest person ever because I have a positively aspected moon in Leo in 12th house. Sun also rules my 12th. I have a weird WEIRD relationship with women tbh....as a woman and I’m a moon trine my 8th house Venus in Taurus. Weird right?! Women are ok, they are just judge-y and get weird sometimes to where I don’t know how to navigate them. I have female friends but I think it worked out AFTER just being me and being vulnerable/ non confrontational/ non threatening. Women typically judge my appearance good or bad. It’s only after I literally tell a joke or display something very human that most women are like ok she is good. It’s super interesting. Competition with women is often too unfortunately as most women like I said get competitive around me a lot. My mother and I are also incredibly close maybe even codependent. I talk to her maybe 3 times a day on average. Like literally was offered a job in another state on skype a few weeks back and I told her on skype to hold the line(she wanted a quick decision) while I spoke to my mom about it. She is my world in a way as weird as it is idgaf I love that woman!!!And my moon is parallel my mars at 29°pisces in the 7th house. She is in my relationships lol she meets all the guys. I talk personal with her when I was married. No secrets no filters. So yeah....I’m a mommas girl and that’s how it manifests itself. I don’t hate my mother. She never neglected me growing up(she worked, and she wasn’t super affectionate) but by 17 we had each other’s backs HARD. She is perhaps too affectionate to me. I get I love you texts and messages and we trade them all day. Lol I think the neglect might be from my grandma. SHE is literally like my mother as well. Even called her Momma from 0-2. Same last name, look same, sound the same and I’m my mothers clone so that’s saying something. SHE is overbearing-she needs to know where I am, who I am with, etc and I’m in my later twenties. I had to cut her out it was getting too bad. To where she would ask others about me when I stopped talking.
